Egads! Stop touching yourself!

Egads! Stop touching yourself!

A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of Crashing
"

Random but good...

"
They try to take away my rights,
But that can't take away my writes!
They can't stop the flows, that becomes exposed like the shining of a knight!
They can't stop the light that glows to guide the others out of night!
They can't reflect it or defect it,
They don't have to love it or respect it,
But whether they do or not, I really don't give a S**T.
Hit harder than body slams from your favorite wrestler,
Pimping up hip hop, call me the lyrical Hugh Hefner!
I make you haters eat s**t, like American Pie's STIFLER.
Corrupting minds like a musical Hitler!
Mister
ROGERS, should be my new nick name.
Let me show you kids how to tie your shoes before you step in this game!
Otherwise you'll wind up in knots,
And you'll be trippin thinking you're ready to go, when you're really NOT.
I steam up enemies like they were in pots,
And make their brains cook up like smoking too much pot!
I am my own man, not created through a plan,
I don't live in your time frame, I do my own span!
And my span don't know limits,
You can call me stupid, but at least I ain't a FAKE, B***H!
I'm the sickest when I get on mics and rock,
I am clever, like the witty fox!
I am the thunder from the storm,
The battle horn,
The Optimus Prime formed once I transform!
Stampede with ease and crush through barricades,
I'm what everybody wants, like personal French Maids!
Swinging like shinobi blades,
Katana's come out from my mouth when I spit with rage!
I'm ready for anything, prepared to engage!
I'm not married to hip hop, but we are engaged!
And if you try to take her away and dirty her,
I will beat your face in till it looks like it was a photo that blurred!
Impure lyrics, but a pure spirit and feel,
Like what America was supposed to stand for before the government slapped it with their seal!

"Pimping up hip hop, call me the lyrical Hugh Hefner!"

Pimping, Mack Daddy! Mack on, lyrical gangsta!

"You can call me stupid, but at least I ain't a FAKE, B***H!"

I think that is a misspelling - that should be "bee-utch!"

"The Optimus Prime formed once I transform!"

What poem would be complete without a reference to Optimus Prime? He gets mixed reviews from me with his strange combination of 1) fighting evil, and 2) genocide (of the Decepticons?)

Genocide? What messages were we giving our children back in the 80's? Wasn't that the same generation that is now fighting over in Iraq with, quite possibly, HALF of the country now listed as missing. I would love to see a longterm study between the relationship of exposure to genocide in infancy and early childhood and subsequent ethical dillema solutions in the real world of warfare. Did watching the Transformers cartoon help to create the alleged mess in Iraq?

Great write. I love the funky-fresh look at the world. Keep rapping your rap, homey!

Peace and love,
Gabe
