Your Embrace Is Where I Feel At Home

Your Embrace Is Where I Feel At Home

A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of Crashing

There's a new wind blowing,

The leaves away.

And now I can see the path,

I can see the way.

Take one step forward,

Now I can't look back.

I'm going to find home,

With this first act!

Cause I'm tired of not knowing,

Where I belong.

And I'm sick of feeling,

Like everything's wrong.

I'll find my place,

That keeps me warm.

I'll find my home,

In open arms!

There's a beautiful sunset,

And a place to rest.

There's someone out there,

Who makes me feel my best!

Wherever I travel,

Wherever I go,

I know that one day,

I'll find that place called home!

Cause I'm tired of losing,

My direction!

And I'm tired of floating,

In pools of contradiction!

I'll find the place,

That gives me warmth,

I'll find my home,

In open arms!

And I don't ever want to repeat,

The same old mistakes.

I never want to feel,

Like I'm about to break!

I want to be stronger,

Not weak or fake.

And with these few actions,

I'll move with grace to that place!

I'll follow my heart,

And sync my mind.

I'll go with my passion,

So my soul won't feel binds.

I'll make my way,

Away from harm.

I'll come into,

Your open arms.
