Like "Two Girls and a Cup"

A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of Crashing
"

I'm just like every human in this race; A defect that's trying to find his place.

"

Oh, you thought I was finished?

Well Popeye came back with a fresh can of spinach.

Life tried to anchor me down,

Took away my metaphors and clever use of verbs and nouns.

But the brain still ticks;

Like a clock,

Or parasites on your son of a b***h.

Lyrical heretic,

Spit it like I'm gothic.

Though I'm not, I am the Hot Topic!

Kung Fu master, I do it for kicks.

I'm opposite; you kids can't get my trix!

A lunatic with a mix of wanting to save like Christ did,

Putting me in the middle of an identity crysis.

I don't do it cause I want to get rich,

I just do it cause this is my fix.

Each word in this manuscript,

Is a puzzle to my life that has a fit.

Maybe when I put together the chaos in my mind,

I will have something golden to report as a find.

Rewind that;

Maybe when I put together the chaos in my mind,

I'll find a way to make the sun eternally shine.

Till then, I'm just like every human in this race;

A defect that's trying to find his place.

Maybe I'm a little more messed up,

I tend to be too explict;

Like "Two Girls and a Cup."
