But, there was still hope...A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of CrashingBelieve... BELIEVE!It sinks in. A rock thrown into Infectious waters. Full of waste And chemical corruption.
A slave to dysfunction, Yet, longing for redemption. A bullet through my head to purify, Seems to be the best bet, As an outlet.
Pricked by thorns, As I was tricked by roses. The one's that cut the deepest Are always the one's closest; Those I trusted best.
Now I'm just stained, Polluted and diluted. The virus of hate runs through me, And it's hard to conjure, A perfect cure...
But somehow, Through all the madness, I was able to see a light. Though only slight; I pray that it ignites and cleanses my minds lens. © 2008 The Lovely Sound Of CrashingReviews
