But, there was still hope...

But, there was still hope...

A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of Crashing
"

Believe... BELIEVE!

"

It sinks in.

A rock thrown into

Infectious waters.

Full of waste

And chemical corruption.

A slave to dysfunction,

Yet, longing for redemption.

A bullet through my head to purify,

Seems to be the best bet,

As an outlet.

Pricked by thorns,

As I was tricked by roses.

The one's that cut the deepest

Are always the one's closest;

Those I trusted best.

Now I'm just stained,

Polluted and diluted.

The virus of hate runs through me,

And it's hard to conjure,

A perfect cure...

But somehow,

Through all the madness,

I was able to see a light.

Though only slight;

I pray that it ignites and cleanses my minds lens.

A wonderful work of faith! It offers hope to those who lack it. It clearly rings never give up, no matter how things come crashing down around oneself. Kuddos to you for your strength and belief in things that appear as a light at the end of a long tunnel. Great job!
