Lyrical Heaven (R.I.P. my beloved writes...)

Everyone's dealing with this whole "accident" delete BS. I know a lot of writers are leaving... but I'm still sticking around.

The new year hasn't been too nice,

I've lost a year and more of my writes.

But it's alright, cause I can still continue,

I got plenty of lyrical weaponary available on my menu.

Time to regain that point revenue,

And just continue with a Take Over Part 2.

Ren-egade has not quit the race,

Ren-egade will keep marching to first place.

At my own pace,

Even though a lot of good lyrics were thrown to waste,

I won't revoke my membership,

Sticking to my penmanship,

Giving up is ludacris,

Even though I'm pissed as a B***H.

I'll let it slide,

Mistakes are made.

I just gotta remember it will be okay.

I still got the stamina to take it all the way-

I still got the passion to write all day!

The lord giveth; lord take it away-

You can destroy my lyrics,

But you can't destroy my spirit,

And even if a page is gone,

I can keep more coming strong,

So to the good writes I had, R.I.P. and so long.

You're up in lyrical heaven, where you belong.

well said. im new here, and posted a few and lost them, but i know this feeling. its happened to ,e before on another website. but i can't understand why anyone would leave or give in. you lose some writing, but write more. poetry isn't about displaying the works, it's about expression! so, all the best! glad you're sticking around.
