Why WarA Poem by Dasha DrevenchukShory story.I have been there when I washed away the blood, been there when the skies were grey, I have been there when mayhem took place and not one man was left standing...I have been there when war took place. I watched them as I gathered myself and fell down. When equal right was a thing of the past. When people's lives were lost because someone had been greedy and selfish and when people riot for rights only to be killed. Blood still runs in the soil, in their veins and now in the skies.
