Approaching Exhaust
Can't seem to shut off
No matter what cost
Don't stop until lost

My fingers are crossed
My heart will defrost
Past transgressions tossed
Bad memories lost

Focusing on now
And a future that's glossed
Or disater is emminent

It's a lot to experience
At such a young age
Understand daddy
Felt strung to a cage

Feeling held back
Fighting inner rage
Decisions to make
Listen as I set the stage

Anxious and confused
Returning to a place
That had me beat n abused

Surrounded again
By those that once used

Left hurting n bruised

Then my sister was stolen
I felt defeated
Hatred was controllin

Stayed long as I could

Motivation was gone
I was no longer good

Time for matters
To be back in my hands
Change is a must
Gotta travel new lands

Once I regain order
Control and stable
I'll be your hero
Your real life child's fable

I hope you can now see
What you were unable
That your faith is worthy
My cards on the table

Don't forget what you heard
