My Disguise
Fear the Poet

Not sure where the weekend went haven’t slept for days thoughts are hazy eyes are heavy and my body aches another crazy ride full of hows n whys and as the party dies and sun begins to rise I put on my disguise shades to hide my eyes the world is none the wise just one of the guys but if you look inside you’ll see it’s all a lie gift wrapped for passerby ribbon on and neatly tied give a nod and a wave and a hi and bye divert my attention straight to the sky maybe you won’t see these tears I fear I’ll cry or feel the tension running up n through my thighs they say perception is what you realize but have you ever looked into my real eyes...
