False Faces

False Faces

A Poem by Naval Tharun

I look at you and I find, eyes filled with lies and deceit
Janus! Your prejudices, a fool’s introspection

You smile at me, laugh with me, hiding your honesty
I can see through your false face. You amuse me!

I know not what your want is, I wait to see
Be better at hiding yourself, learn from me

The day you shed your skin, I will be
The evil you dread, your worst enemy

Wow the poem surely surprised me with the turn of events . Its true we all have our demons residing inside us,waiting to be released. In this constant fight mist of the times we loose our selves or
Our objectives. I really liked the poem ,you have written it beautifully .
