![]() Who are weA Poem by NaugleB![]() I wrote for my sister who is struggling to find herslef. I realized she has so many questions that sometimes can alienate a person but in reality they are questions all human beings must face in life.![]() Feelings are used to express ourselves, but what should we do when we don’t even know ourselves? What should we do when we can’t even feel ourselves, see ourselves, trust, love, or free ourselves? Defined by what we do, defined by who we do, defined by when, where, and how we do. Who am I and who are you? What’s my integrity and what’s your use? A single-minded perseverance can knock you down before the first appearance. Impairment at its finest, there’s disaster and decay; improvement is disregarded and simply pushed away. We’re told be superior we’re told be first rate so do what you need to do even berate. Philosophies of others fuel our goals and dreams but what is left to manage from these unjustified fiends? Just stop and look and see what I mean it’s been told from day one that we’re born unclean. We must do this and must become that go to school, go to war, or pick up a damn baseball bat. We do what we do and nothing can change that, our choices to be are why he forgave that. To question who you are to question where you came from; why not determine who you are and f**k where you came from? Happiness and content have multiple meanings it’s what’s beating in our hearts that make us human beings. Love, lust, money or things why must we fret over what the world brings? Should we survive and thrive and do great things with our lives great things profound things with unlimited ties? Should we live for ourselves or others instead, but wait look back remember what I said? How do we know ourselves? We can’t feel ourselves, can’t see ourselves, trust, love, or free ourselves. We are the world, just people, me and you, so tell me now what the hell are we to do? © 2012 NaugleBAuthor's Note
