The Girl Who Never Played Outside
I passed by the place all the time Such a pretty little girl lived inside I only saw her go to and from the car Never did she dare to go very far But children are made to run and play They should never be doomed to stay I wonder if she would like to play outside I wonder if she is happy inside No hide and seek No kitty’s to find and keep No exciting stories to tell No fun slides and rails One day I will move and be gone But I shall never forget the little girl who was done wrong © 2024 Levi LevinAuthor's Note
