A Poem by Levi Levin
"

Have You Ever is a faith-based poem that covers the struggles of life but reminds the person of faith that there is hope despite all the trials of life.

Have You Ever by Levi Levin

Have you ever loved someone who didn’t love you back?

Seemed all they did was hate and attack.

Have you ever thought, "Maybe I’m better off dead?

You laid down and wondered if you would rise again.

Have you ever reached out to be a friend?

But was rejected and blown into the wind.

Have you ever wondered how you would get through?

When you had so much going on, you didn’t know what to do.

Have you ever been so low and wondered if anyone cared?

The troubles of life were too much to bear.

If we will seek the help that comes from above,

Then soon our heart will be healed and filled with His love.

Yes, I have felt those things. They cut to the bone. But your right, only God can heal and help those types of wounds. Great poem :)

Thanks again, I appreciate it--Levi
Life is learning and experience. A lot of things we learn make us understand. Gift of love are rare. Better to be silence then to offend another with negative words. I like the many questions brought to life in the excellent poem.
