In the Eyes of the Innocent

A better look at the true struggles of life, from the point of view of a christian.

 

Sin is a demon creeping through

Devouring lives is what they do

It starts so simple, shades of gray

Then slowly all boundaries decay

The retribution can’t be found

We all are falling to the ground

A world so heartless, all despise

With always, ever-present eyes

What can be done when no ones right

And nothings left for which to fight?

Who can see past all the lies

And see the truth through the disguise?

We wait in wonder for the light

To carry through and purge this blight

The chaos carries all around

In the seclusion love is drowned

For the end we beg and pray

But blessed are we to live today

So for our curse, a cure not new

But still, it’s up to each of you
