Chains of no escape

He caught me in his chains

I don't know when, where

How or why

But he did it 

Maybe it was his kind eyes

His gorgeous smile

His dimples that I 

Couldn't resist or 

How caring he appeared 

I don't know but 

The chains that are on my 

Heart hurt with every beat

And I cant find a way 

To break the chains

I'm being broken down 

By the weight of the pain

That these chains bring me

I'm just sitting here 

Putting on a smile

Trying not to cry 

Everyday and I'm doing 

Good but I can't be strong 

Forever all I can do 

Is hope that when

I break down that 

No one is there to see 

Me cry 

No one will know 

The pain he brings

Me and no one 

Will understand how he 

This to me 

The chains of no escape
