The flame inside dies....or does it

Inside of me is a flame, a flame that I cherish

But slowly I realize, that it will soon perish

I need the flame inside me, it makes me who I am, it keeps me happy, safe and sound

Without it surely I would have no ides who I, I would sink low all the way to the ground

My flame slowly diminishes, but I turned and saw you 

My flame lit up so bright and one person made it happen, I never knew

But then I doubted things, you proved me wrong

I knew that doubted things, but everything went for the best

And I knew my flame wasn't going to die all along
