Can't sleep with a broken heart

To have an agonizing pain in your chest  that seems to get worse by the second, is the pain of a broken heart

But to know that you have to sleep at night with that same pain is unbearable and the person who broke it will never understand the pain until it happens to them 

It's impossible to sleep with the pain in your chest and the thoughts in your head keeping you awake 

There's nothing in the world that can soothe both of them 

It weighs on you until your body can't hold the weight and you eventually crumble 

And you lie there in pieces and think " why did this happen to me ?"

But you never get an answer
