A Greeting From Afar

A Greeting From Afar

A Poem by Nativespirit
"

Years ago I wrote this to those whose words and thoughts gave me courage to write. Friends, never seen, but loved.

"
When God's splendor shines in the sky
Go stand outside, if you will
Gaze at the glow of the moon and the stars
And feel a sudden thrill

To know that all this light and love
Embraces all friends dear
Even though face to face we may not look
We're bound both far and near

We're tied by our need to write and dream
To create and bear our souls
To write our words and share with friends
Till all our tales are told.

I always enjoy reading uplifting poems and feed my heart with kind words...and I'm very grateful for arriving at this page and reading this wonderful piece. It is amazing how all people have different aspirations but at the same time we're all bound together... we are not separate from each other and each has a sample of the universe within him.

Beautiful poem thank you for sharing this message.
