All I knew

All I knew

A Poem by Keturah Ipaliwan

When you held me in your gaze, I felt complete.

When you said my name, my heart skipped a beat.

When you held my hand my stone walls crumbled.

When you sang to me you calmed the storm within.

But, when you left me, all I knew was gone too.
