Young and CuriousA Poem by Keturah IpaliwanThis is a fun little piece I worked on a few months back. It's about a young boy who is head over heels for an older woman.Young and curious but almost foolish, You held her in your gaze and fell for her smile, Age didn’t matter and neither did time. Young and curious you followed your heart, Knowing the risks you decided to take your chances. Her laugh lingered in your ear, her voice in your mind. Foolish or brave, courageous or not, Determined you were, pursuing with hope. In suspense you were of whether she’d let you hang or let you fall, At her disposal you willingly put yourself, She had the power to deny your wish or grant it. You felt helpless in her presence but you loved it; you craved for that. And as crazy as it sounds, you want more. Young and curious, you bright eyed boy, fell for the storm that tore the nails off the windows of your soul. © 2017 Keturah IpaliwanAuthor's Note
