Minds, Storms, and Tigers

Minds, Storms, and Tigers

A Poem by JamesTleBourn
"

Three eyes, one person, infinity possibilities

"

Minds, Storms, and Tigers

The eye of my mind

Is a swirling darkness

No light to find

Eye of the storm

Is so far away from me

Escape the swarm

Eye of a tiger

Is something I crave

To really occur

Because in the eye of the mind

I need to have the eye of a tiger

To find the eye of the storm.

Happy birthday!

I liked the mood this poem evoked within me - mystery and a kind of distinct predatorial emotion. It conveys some intelligence within the author in that in compares that to attain one thing you must at first achieve something else that will give you that reward. I think it's a nice skeleton for a poem, but it's not complete. Add more flesh and words, perhaps look up similar themes that you have just written about and try again.
