Desires Bring Pain, Too

Hanging up feels likes a death sentence

Because I’m being ripped from the one

Person I ever wanted to talk to

Every time I think of you when I’m alone

My mind’s eye is blindfolded with pain

And a longing for you so, so much

Sometimes I question affection when all it gives

Is a constant pain and a hurricane to

Once calm, sandy beaches

Missing you is agony, but I don’t want you

To leave your position in my thoughts

It’s the one time I can see you

That's love for you. The separations are difficult to deal with. Reminds me of the first six months of meeting my husband. I didn't see him at all. We got to know each other on the phone. After the first week of meeting each other we were separated by a distance of two hundred miles. Yes, that separation can bring agony. You brought all that back to me in your lines.

Am I new? Yes. How old am I? Why would I ever say. Where do I live? Like it says: the Canadian bit of Antarctica. Will I accept read requests? I guess *shrug* as long as you comment on my stuff.. more..
