Where Are the Laws

Song birds erupting into violent melody

Soft petals shriveling in the shine of frost

Dreams discouraging what could never be

Compasses directing the ship to be lost

Entropy establishing its erect, eerie throne

Over Earth and all that its powers shall own

Flaming tongues licking only to freeze

All standard calculations coming to zero

Ships’ sails swell in lack of a salty breeze

The detestable surging in to save the hero

Time irrevocably, irreversibly, irreverently

Counting backwards: the unnatural naturally

the ship has definitely gone off course now...this is appropriate to the current situation...for us, the hero only sees himself as such...meanwhile we haven't got enough life rafts to go around.
I enjoy reading poets when they rhyme so easily and naturally as this. I am not capable...
Time does its own thing...and right now this virus is doing its own thing on its own time.
And we can't seem to slow the ship down.

Am I new? Yes. How old am I? Why would I ever say. Where do I live? Like it says: the Canadian bit of Antarctica. Will I accept read requests? I guess *shrug* as long as you comment on my stuff.. more..
