Please Come for Me

Please Come for Me

A Poem by JamesTleBourn

“Please Come for Me”

I left you behind a long time ago

My heart was not able to deal with you

But now as I write this, you should know

That I regretted leaving as I flew

I’ve stood alone in this cold for so long

Yearning that you decide to come for me

Because I don’t have the strength to walk along

And go without your loving sight to see

I know I was wrong to cause you heartbreak

Yet now I need to ask you one more question

Not “do you love me?” or “how do you wake?”

What I ask is merely a suggestion

For, ever since I left I’ve been chary

Please come for me; I was wrong, I’m sorry

Am I new? Yes. How old am I? Why would I ever say. Where do I live? Like it says: the Canadian bit of Antarctica. Will I accept read requests? I guess *shrug* as long as you comment on my stuff.. more..
