"End of an Age"

"End of an Age"

A Poem by JamesTleBourn
"

Apollo’s chariot is descending / To kiss the horizon and usher Moon

"

Apollo’s chariot is descending

To kiss the horizon and usher Moon

With night and continue time unending

He will pass the baton to Luna soon

This fiery orange of the Sun’s aura

Permeates the heavens in the late day

Twilight begins to dimly light flora

Day has almost nearly been put away

Explosions of color fill darkened skies

Hues of cardinal and titian rule all

The last burst before the light of day dies

All rays are retracted; the final call

Let the night begin, creatures of the dark

Now Moon, on your journey you must embark

Am I new? Yes. How old am I? Why would I ever say. Where do I live? Like it says: the Canadian bit of Antarctica. Will I accept read requests? I guess *shrug* as long as you comment on my stuff.. more..
