Fast LoveA Poem by Nathan1289Some people are lucky to find.......This is a story at the apex of love, it's not happily ever after although it fits like a glove. Can I study your features till time falls away? I know that you care by the squeeze of your hand. I know that our memories are castles in the sand. As the snow starts to fall and the icicles form, we drift to summer in the golden fields of corn. The breeze starts to warm and the barley leaves sway. Bound by the summer nights, we drift, float and melt away. I know our love is destined to burn brightly and fast, this is the relationship you dream of, although you know it won't last. Can I paint you a picture of happiness in shapes? Can I kiss you in slow motion as we play our mix tapes? I know when the music ends, so does our story, but this poem lives on, our moment of glory.
