Out of Reach

Out of Reach

A Poem by NateFox

The bus rolls

through the park lands

and among the field of green

I look to an old tree,

the bough’s are uniform

stretching proudly skywards

but for one,

it’s reach doesn’t reach at all

but for the earth it falls

through the wars

and changing of the guards,

it’s the one I watch

the one doing it his way
