Amaranth was sitting by the window seat watching the rain outside. She was waiting for fiancé of 5 months; Mordred. Suddenly she heard his phone ringing she got up from the window seat and looked at the caller ID it read Lilith, Amaranth let the phone ring still curios about who the caller was. She let it go figuring she could ask Mordred about this “Lilith” when he got home. She returned to her spot on the window seat and continued reading her book, finally she heard the lock turning on the apartment’s door, Mordred was home. “hey Mordred where did you go?” she asked.”I had to gat out of the house for a while”he replied.”Oh.” “Whose Lilith?” she asked.”What?’ he said shocked “Who is Lilith”? ,She repeated this time with more concern in her voice.”she called while you were gone” “Oh um yeah she’s one of my co-workers “he stuttered.
