Boy

Boy

A Poem by Natalie Wisecraft

He understands me

Better than anyone

Strangely connected

He knows everything about me, and I him.

My heart flutters

Everytime he giggles

Everytime he cries

Everytime he whispers, "I love you my mammy".

When he's older

His innocence gone

I hope he remembers

I love him, and always will.

What a sweet and lovely poem. It was beautiful and abstract in many ways. For a first poem here, I give you an A+! ☺
