Please let me love you

Lonely heart, do not run

I am beside you

You hide your wounds

As if I will fear them

Let me kiss them

And cry for you

Just let me love you

I won't flinch or run

When will you learn, love

That I am here to stay

Let me love you

As freely as you are

Let us be together

Here, now, and forever

Nice poem, if only it were that easy....sadly trust is something that even after its earned, it can't be given. people find it hard to let their guard down after they've been hurt before. I'm speaking from experience. But your poem makes it seem like theres hope in the future. I like it, its cute and inocent. great job.

Yeah, this is for sure one of those poems that gets better and cuter after you re read it. Not that it isn't good the first time.. it really is, it just gets even better as you see the closer details.
