Personal favour for a stranger

Personal favour for a stranger

A Poem by Narshada
"

Playing with tempo and rhythm, by having the last word of each line form the first word of the next, even if that breaks the line before its end.

"
You’re not mad at me, you’re mad at your-
Self hatred is easy to spot in other
People will never understand why you
Behave yourself or you know what you’ll
Get on in life, get ahead, get
Buy things that you don’t
Need to know basis, top
Secrets have a way of coming
Out of the door and through the
Windows of the soul, as far as the
I can see you in there
Hiding, that’s what you’ll
Get out of
Hear that? It came from
Down and out, just
Lying to my
Face it, we’re never going to be a
Couple more and then we’re
There you go. Will there be anything
Else I’m leaving and I’m not coming
Back to life, we thought you were
Dead calm, it’s perfectly
Flat 3, if you could just
Stop and think, you must
Know we’ve never met, but if you do this one thing for me,
I swear I’ll never bother you again.
