Memory of Dandelions

Memory of Dandelions

A Poem by Black Jess
"

A doctor slump. Let's take a break while we're at rock bottom

"
Blow the dust of time my friend
like a Dandelion fluff on the wind
I thought I heared a silent howling
as you blown your suffering

This time, blow your wishes darling
Exhale your fear
In your secret garden
where no one can interfere

A snail can teach you that
Good things take time
The breeze can make you feel
The end of mouldering in the shed of years
Flowers will make you realise
You're one, you'll bloom and rise

Everytime you go to your garden
Puff a Dandelion
Make a wish
You cherish

I love dandelions - whether or not considered weeds. If they have the time to brighten the world with their yellow time whispers - why not enjoy them. Better bright yellow then drear and dark black. They make good tea, too! Apart from that your poem is written both lovingly and - with rhythmic care

'A snail can teach you that
Good things take time
The breeze can make you feel
The end of mouldering in the shed of years
Flowers will make you realise
You're one, you'll bloom and rise'

Writing is my escape. I want to be lost in a world made of books, tea and rainy days. We need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overly.. more..
