The whole in my life

The whole in my life

A Poem by Black Jess
"

When you have someone who got a big place in your heart , and when he's gone you just feel like you have a hole , a blank space

"
I'm runing out of ideas
My head and hand froze
I keep writing about tears
And I don't know how to write about the summer breeze

I can't fill the emptiness
Neither in this my paper
Nor in my heart

There's a large white space that I cannot color
Neither with words , nor with flower
There's a great hole in my life
It's like someone caught me with a knife
There's something missing
There's someone I'm missing
Your place is irreplacable
Your face is unforgettable

I'm living a Black & White life

We all crave for that someone to shower us with colors on our black and white life (just like you said). In the same way that we need that 'someone' to keep us together to prevent us from falling apart.

I can also relate to this poem. It was beautifully expressed. :)

However, I would suggest that you be careful in the use of rhyming words at the end of your lines, because sometimes it looks as though you just used that word (though it's not related to the thought of the poem) for the sole purpose of making the lines rhyme. Don't worry, writers usually make mistakes like that. I do too. :) It all depends on the word choice so as not to disrupt the flow of the poem.

Thanks for inviting me to read. :) Keep writing!

About
Writing is my escape. I want to be lost in a world made of books, tea and rainy days. We need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overly.. more..
