Forever With Me

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all." Psalm 34:18-19

When I’m feeling tired,

Troubled or depressed,

O Lord, I need You near me~

Your presence to give me rest.

 

I cry out for help, and

Your answer gives me peace.

I hear Your voice in the thunder;

You whisper gently from a breeze:

 

“My child, have faith!

I am always here to guide you.

Don’t fear, I’ll never leave you,

For I live deep down inside you.”

 

So, filled with comfort and new strength,

My days once again bring fair weather.

And throughout my life, I will always feel secure,

Knowing God is with me forever.

A beautiful testimony and reminder that our Lord will never leave nor forsake us. I was having a pretty rough day, and something told me to jump on and read a little. Your poem was the first that I stopped on and I am most pleased that I did. A most inspiring and beautiful write.
