Just As Friends

Just As Friends

A Poem by Naomi Garland

We started talking,
just as friends.
But as time passed,
it felt like something more was about to begin.
You see, I've dreamed of finding that special one,
who I could truly call my own.
And now whenever we talk,
I wish that we could be so much more,
than two friends
who talk on IM.
Tell me that you feel it too,
and that I'm not wasting my time by falling for you.

Nice. I like it. I love how you made time pass like *snap of fingers* that. How it went from friends to L♥VE! It was really cool, and I also love how it had meaning, but was simple at the same time. Good job!
