MauveA Poem by Moonie
Donot hasten the silken winds that blow,
the call of the clock, the magnetic ebb and flow. In the dichotomy of moments, that you linger behind-- in the most fortuitous times, I seem to find, you in trails of violet kisses, traced with fingertips, in coffee whispers of future nights. You bloom through my starry-eyed dreams, thriving in velvet constellations, a ghost, a wisp of a promise. In lavender-scented breezes of endless mauve dusks, you linger like perfume enveloped in the wild Wisteria musk-- sealed with sweet spring kisses, to topple and collapse into my rib cage, trailing behind in petals blooming out of my skin, swimming like paper fish in my veins, clinging to my heart, spun spider silk thin. © 2019 MoonieAuthor's Note
