Alpha rays

Love is thunder in a sea-shell,
a hurricane wrapped in a chrysalis,
stirring the leaves above my head.
An awakening, as though the first domino
has tipped over,
knocking over the next in line--
the beginning of a cascade,
a chain reaction
of possibilities.
