Open fissures,

A butterscotch dream.

Cracked, crimson crusted cuts.

Shades of blue, jade, cream.

Woeful wounds,

A sinful past.

Deep reds, violets, yellows.

A mixed colour blind cast.

Paramount possibilities, 

A mercurial metaphor.

Juggling around red cards.

Tones of lavender, mint, ochre. 

Confused, convoluted coda.

Odd, obtrusive, obnoxious

Lines, letters, lyrics.

Onerous & opaque opus-

Uninterrupted...unabated...unceasing...

Resting.......ready.......rolling........

Stopped suddenly!_______static.

Moon's fairest daughter, this is wonderful! It is an explosion of vibrant, vivid, and visually stimulating colors that fascinate the mind and transport the heart. You managed to marry the visual arts with the linguistic arts in a way that is captivating and a pleasure to read. You make me want to get my paints out and play...:)

In life we often use too few colours and thus become monochromatic. I really enjoyed the palette you used to colour this beautiful poem and now must dig out a butterscotch pudding I've been saving for a moment like this.

Very true, and we should definitely try out some new ones just to funk up the canvas...afterall who wants to look like a monochromatic skunk???

You and all those who read this are gonna hate me after I say this. I wrote this poem in such a way such that no one understands it. It's like an inside joke between me and my muse I guess. I was thinking about crayons when I wrote this. How children dislike the crayon set that they get and crave for the ones they can't have. Similarly, we never accept our past, present and future. It's time we accepted our colours.
I thought no one would understand it the way I ve writen it. I tried to be as vague as possible. But then, in the end I boldly say that it is a confused bit of writing which is difficult to decipher, is totally obnoxious, is running on and on, and then suddenly stops and the reader feels relieved.
Kinda like life is, it is made up of our past, present and future, is confusing and difficult to understand, and runs on and on and then ends all of a sudden, leaving us feeling relieved.
I was trying to pull the reader's leg throughtout the poem actually. I even spell colours in the last paragraph. I had to tell this secret to someone. Phew, my conscious feels si light. Haha, never again will I write such an obnoxious poem!!!
It feels like selling your soul to the devil. :)

nope. I don't think it's obnoxious at all. on the contrary, it's thought provoking in a humourous kinda way.
we'd be so much happier if we accepted our colours and stopped thinking that the grass's greener and all that.
