Red PoppiesA Poem by Moonie
Let us go then, you and I,
to where the red poppies race by. Let us travel with hands intertwined, to where the swaying violets lined, stand out in the lent summer heat. Let us find some day spare, to meet. To meet and to lock our hands in an emphatic embrace of wedding bands.
