Halloween

Halloween

A Poem by Moonie
"

~trying comedy~

"
A night of spookes, scares and shivers,
jack o' lanterns and goosebump-givers.
Ghosts and Goblins lurk at every turn.
Puff up your cowardly heart or return.
At every alley, black cats roam.
At every street, a sneering gnome.
Bogeymen and night- mares hiding
Headless horsemen gallantly striding.
Ghostly chariots and drivers,
spirit swordsmen, and knifers.
Bloody, my dear is your moon,
and I'm afraid you must finish soon.
Your stars are crossed.
You are alone and lost.
The graves are stirring.
The cats are purring.
Your luck is wretched
You are covered in bat s**t.
It is the terrible midnight hour,
and you're stuck in this haunted tower.
Tick, tick, tick goes the clock.
You are pale as paper, you barely talk.
Slimy ghouls wait for you 'cross the lake.
You are frightened. You start to shake.
Sweat and fear drips from your brow,
as they towards us wade and row.
Their oars are slapping,
your footfalls are tapping.
To your curious inquisition, I must say
your time is cursed, you must haste away!
But before I vanish, I must warn you, my dear,
the ghosts are famished,  and their feast is here.
Beware of the tricksters,  and the coffin dwellers,
the liars, and the amulet sellers.
Take out the cauldron, my precious,
and hope the warlocks haven't tricked us.
Pick up the wooden ladle,
Come sit on my spirit saddle
Stir and mix your potions right.
I wish you, sir, a very hauntful night!

Seems I may have missed this beautiful terror when you first confessed it here, but it is in perfect timing for the season now. You create such a dark flow and form whispering over the misted night, and how you awaken everything deliciously wicked in this wild wonderland. :)

Hahaha, philosophy for life. Grab the stage when it's empty, and pray the stands are not...
