I see a goddess reciting this poem while imagining of her pirate lover. Haha I don't know if this is the character your crafted in your story but this poem is really good. It seem to talk about lovers waiting and longing to be reunited with each other again. Well done.

The snow and winds are the hardships and worries of life, which fade away in death. In death, you find peace. :)) thank you for the lovely review, it means a lot to me that you stopped by, dear Anče.:))
very clever opening line .. moon white flowers and snow connect me instantly .. the rest lulls me as my own heart beat slows down .. enjoyed your poem very much .. wouldnt change a thing .. "balming the motion, " ..love that!

I wanted the reader to feel as if he or she is drifting to sleep. As I said, death is beautiful, quicker and easier than falling asleep. I wrote "the snow and winds are gone" to convey that the hardships and worries are over.
Also, I just love your reviews. You catch everything I want to say through the poem.:))
This was beautiful and so lonely today. You have done a wonderful job with this poem. I could feel this. I enjoyed this today.

"Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas; they live in one another still. For they must needs be present, that love and live in that which is omnipresent. In this divine glass they see face to face; and their converse is free, as well as pure. This is the comfort of friends, that though they may be said to die, yet their friendship and society are, in the best sense, ever present, because immortal. "

If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
