The Letter.

The Letter.

A Poem by +Naomi+

My father,
sent me a letter
and I received it to find;
He remembers when I first saw a convertible.

When I was a little girl,
I'd yell out the cars we passed.

Black car, Red Truck, Slug bug...

and once we pulled into
a Walmart parking lot.

I was jumping up and down,
only four years old.
I couldn't catch my breath
and I was screaming my loudest.

My dad almost crashed the car trying to park,
and when he did park,
He threw himself in the backseat
to see what was wrong.

To his surprise I yelled :

"Daddy! That car is without a lid!!"

We laughed for almost 20 minutes straight.

I thank that's my most missed memory.
