The Island Suns in MeA Poem by Nao Deguchi
My single self encompasses all history The months and years and dates All have immortal meaning, as if I was there I am the face of all cultures All minorities have their place in me Impoverished and mangled I carry the sorrow of millions In my lonely breast, as if To learn the cosmic importance Of compassion, boundless empathy The sun of knowledge asks me to go To the offerings of the cyclic moon Where I will learn the secrets of surrender The self-oblivion of ego-dissolution I try to tell the flaming vision That I know those fields already intimately But the Oneness only cares for that The identity of the whole, the fugue of time Taken from the perspective of all perspectives.

Of these, Indian are my favorite. They have a beauty of sentiment that is not replicated in english. I do not like to leave a trace.. more..Writing
