In the Great Dawn of All Beginnings

In the Great Dawn of All Beginnings

A Poem by Nao Deguchi

I may not understand those words

Or read the treachery in your heart

But souls, these elements

Remain the same, like wheels of re-birth

These nodes are not

Of Nirvana, only karmic sheaths

Will I cease to be

Of our last meeting together?

The memories like a trance return

Of divinity, nothing particular

Simply an order of alignment

Where on my narrow bed

In a folded quilt, it all comes back to me

Sleeping, I awaken

Frozen, I feel revelation’s Thumb

Press like a subtle heat

On my chest, behind my heart

Flame of a psychic-being

In the village

Where we are all one.

About
I will go to great lengths to encourage writers of Asian origin. Of these, Indian are my favorite. They have a beauty of sentiment that is not replicated in english. I do not like to leave a trace.. more..
