Community of the OneA Poem by Nao Deguchi
I have no community Among this community of one Only the salient presence Of selected perceptions Me and this neo-Nietzschean chatter A post-Aurobindonian Gradual isolation from The need for a sense of Belonging or, a relationship Alone I find a pale gold Tempered with the magnimanious The looking within for The pure potential of Artistic context, spiritual unity There is nothing more I need I have no community Among this community of one Not even a will to survive I adapt only in subjective mediums The message was always primary Form always secondary Self an abstract metaphysical event Relationship, a doctrine of fitting-in Though what if I never fit in? A resignation to be alone too Has her benefits, Under more tolerant examination Enlightenment, actually becomes Plausible, progress becomes personal.
