To Sing Right Puissantly

To Sing Right Puissantly

A Poem by Nao Deguchi

In the arpeggios of consciousness

Spirit and space have fulfilled their function

And I eat bread just to eat

So that my voice will be nourished

I dream of the unfulfilled future

And yearn more than anything

In this world, for my airy dreams

A concerto of star-furred legions

These ransoming big-bangs of origins

To re-illuminate the darkness of hope

Where everything is like the spread

Of snow and stars, sounds and

The way a picture tastes

Gold in brightest blues

Safety in the wild, comfort in the natural.

About
I will go to great lengths to encourage writers of Asian origin. Of these, Indian are my favorite. They have a beauty of sentiment that is not replicated in english. I do not like to leave a trace.. more..
