How could we not
Fall in love 
The moon hung over us
As we danced beneath 
Its silver light 
And when the day broke 
Over the fields and 
Steel jungles that we called 
Home, the sun rose first 
And stopped by our window 
It poked its head inside and said 
“Good morning” 
And that was it
I fell in love 
At 5 am
When the daylight danced 
Around your skin 
And your smile stretched 
Across the bed 
I felt it
Our hearts connected 
As your eyes kissed me hello
My lips whispered 
You’re beautiful
