Playing In Rich Soil

Playing In Rich Soil

A Poem by Nansi London

Bursting vivid canary yellow...
Twisted and ebbed into my octave nerves...
Sending jolts of frizzled blearing colors,
In a time of sputtered beats.
Beats that sing from my core...

Wrapped in golden petals and warm sun kissed skin...
Tasting sugar with each sip from your lips,
Tumbled and tangled in Nature's brilliant smile,
As you whisper sweet sonnets under the canvas of puffy clouds.
How sweet the nectar that is laced with your love...

The thing that I enjoyed the most about this poem is how you mixed nature in with your feelings. Then there is the yellow theme through out the poem. A well written poem.
