Spiralling

Spiralling

A Poem by Jonathan Hoy
"

Just a short thing about a friend who is distanceing themselves for some unknown reason. I was incredibly tired when i wrote this, but you cant stop when the creative spark strikes!

"
Down and down we spiral,
into a pit of nothing,
an emptiness of infinate proportions.

What has led us to this point?
We were both looking to the future,
now all thats left is conflict.

As time goes on, you distance yourself.
Further and further you fall,
until i can see no way of bringing you back.

Is this really where you want to be?
I thought you truly cared.
Now all i am to you is entertainment,
a relief to your constant bordome.

When will this change?
Am i never going to be a true friend again?
The switch only goes two ways
so make up your mind, or i will do it for you.
