Resolution(continued from Logic, Emotion)

A Poem by Jonathan Hoy
"

It may not be totally clear, but im presenting the idea that iv lost who i am, and was stuck in a toxic place, and now i am out of it.

"

Spiraling down, in a whirlpool of insecurity
No sign of light, no sign of hope
Your own thoughts leaving a trail of destruction.

All focus has been lost
And your mind along with it
Now you pay the price
For the mistakes you have made.

Those feelings you had
Of wanting more than you can have
They cease to exist
Leaving only the bad

Your heart stopped beating
Your mind took over
And you tore them down
In a fit of jelousy

Now the light shines
From where i do not know
But you are back to yourself
Confidence and security retrieved

At last, the question has been answered
The Head or the Heart?
As the smoke clears, only one side stands
The answer is, both and neither.

I write these to express a strong emotion i am feeling, mostly because if i dont then it will consume me. The way i write is more literal in meaning rather than having symbolism, so it is very clear i.. more..
