Finality

Finality

A Poem by Jonathan Hoy
"

This is not actually about anything i am feeling right now, its just an idea that came to me, and its more about the end of a friendship rather than a relationsjip, but read into it what you will :P

"

As i lay here
thinking about this
what iv done
and what we've been through

Iv forced you away
with what i thought was life
my idea of honesty
your idea of hate

the damage has been done
we are approaching finality
a lost cause
no hope, just despair

I ask for your forgiveness
all i get is nothing
not a sigh, nor a whisper
im losing myself to this

i try to reach out
as i fall into the darkness
you werent there
despite what we shared

the damage has been done
we are approaching finality
a lost cause
no hope, just despair

I write these to express a strong emotion i am feeling, mostly because if i dont then it will consume me. The way i write is more literal in meaning rather than having symbolism, so it is very clear i.. more..
